My MLA thesis used a GIS to analyze a study area near Outlook, SK, next to the South Saskatchewan River.
I used then-budding literature to estimate ecological service values of the study area across four temporal scales*:
- pre-settlement land cover
- current land use
- future land use scenario based on current* global trends
- future land use scenario based on current* best practices
